If you haven't read the seven series I highly suggest you start at the beginning with seven days then keep going from there. You will better understand the story since it's about a shifter pack the Weston pack specifically each story is about a member so it's really helpful to read them all. If read alone it's still fun but I don't think it will be as deeply appreciated. JMO

On the three hours, this is Wheelers story, for those that follow he's the brother with the chip on his shoulder, always dishing out attitude covered in tattoos and it seems that none of the others really no him except maybe his twin Ben the supposed "good" twin, fun easy to be around.

Naya is Lexi's ( alpha female of the pack) best friend, who saved Lexi from her murderous ex and continues to be one heck of a friend. So when some of the girls at the exotic dancing club that Naya works at goes missing she seeks out the help of the Weston Pack. She asks Reno to investigate since he is a P.I and Austin puts Wheeler on Bodyguard duty. What more could a girl ask for.... Well let's just say nothing goes smoothly Wheeler is a a man with a past he's protective of who can't seem to get the fiery Naya out from under his skin as they banter the sexual tension is building, and Wheeler isn't the only one being affected.
I can't get to much into what happens without giving things away and trust me you would rather find out for yourself than read it in a review. Suffice it to say Wheeler is one hell of a man and personally I'm in love😍 he isn't just tough or sexy or even sweet. He's more than all that he's dynamite looks plain enough on the outside but everyone knows it's dangerous to add a little fire AKA Naya because when you do its explosive.

Both NAya and Wheeler have complicated histories but together they are able to find Healing and trust and most undoubtedly love.
Wheeler is the most loyal, amazing wolf a sexy Kitty cat could ask for.....

One of my favorite stories to date it's right up there with Four days but for different reasons.

Also for those hoping for a visit into what's happening with the rest of the Weston pack there is a lot and You get updates on all your favorites. For me I'm anxiously awaiting Denny's story.

After reading all the books in Dannika’s Mageri Series and the Seven Series all I can say is I loved both series and she is now one of my top Authors. . I’m looking forward to reading her latest series called Crossbreed. Both series were exciting, loving, humorous, and suspenseful and I even cried. Dannika’s humor is like no other and I found myself laughing out loud. She is such a clever word smithy. I apparently read the 2 series out of the recommend order. I read the Seven Series first and the Mageri Series second but it did not make any difference in the story telling. I was glad I read them in the order I did as I was left with a Big surprise and a very happy heart when I read the last book “The Gift” in the Mageri Series on the last pages. I was left with such a happy and satisfied feeling as the two series were connected in a special way that worked for me. I wish the series could have gone on forever as I loved the characters in both series. It was like having to say good-bye to friends you love. I highly recommend Dannika’s work and especially these two series.

Dannika Dark is never short of creative storytelling and hitting us upside the head with plot twists. Don't I love her for it!!!

From previous books, we knew Wheeler and Ben (The Twins) were a mystery in many ways. I was never quite sure how to feel about them though Wheeler did stand out more. I'm glad their story wasn't really unveiled until later in this series. The build up really lent to the story. As usual, Dannika Dark has her timing down to a T.

Make no mistake this book is not about THE TWINS, Ben does have his part, but this was all Wheeler and Naya! I think we all saw this pairing coming, but they still managed to have many surprises for us. They play so well off of each other. More than that they really gave each other what a family. I can't imagine what it was like for Wheeler to be constantly surrounded by family and yet never really feeling like he had a place. Naya gave him that. For all of Naya's grief about pack life it was great to see that that is a little of what she needed, too.

Very intrigued by what we had going on in the background as well. I loved seeing the guys, Jericho and Lorenzo, as doting fathers. On that note, I love that Dark didn't feel the need to have the alpha instantly start a family. He has his priorities, and perhaps now that the pack is becoming more family oriented and comfortable, there can be a discussion. William continues to stand out for me. He has a presence that says he is going to be important here. My theory is that the last two books will be for Denver and William.

It was fitting to read this on Easter as these books are always an Easter egg hunt!

Once again, Ms. Dark completely surprised me. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to read this installment of the Seven series because I really didn’t care for either character that much in the earlier books. Man, was I in for a treat! While Naya is still not my favorite heroine, the story of her and Wheeler was superb!

Learning the story behind Wheeler’s personality is heart-wrenching yet it wraps the reader completely around his character and makes one yearn for a mate so devoted. Kudos to the author for such a nuanced and emotional journey!

There are a few times pages drag just a little when a bit too much space is taken in the mundane descriptions, conversations etc. (those “tag it, cause I’m losing you” times) but the richness of the overall story was so compelling that it keeps one turning those pages, tears and all!
